Alicia and Chris Farias of the Virginia James Duo are a dynamic husband-and-wife duo bringing more than 20 years of professional performance experience to Southern California. Originally from New England, they have performed everywhere from Fenway Park and Harvard University to the historic Newport Mansions of Rhode Island. Now based in San Marcos, they regularly perform throughout San Diego, Temecula Wine Country, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and beyond.
 
With guitar, bass, violin, male and female lead vocals, and rich harmonies, their versatile repertoire spans Pop, Classic Rock, Country, Folk, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Celtic, Classical, and more. Their contemporary sound, engaging live performances, and diverse musical influences allow them to create a unique experience for every audience.
 
The duo are also award-nominated recording artists, with their original music earning a 2026 San Diego Music Awards nomination for Best Folk/Acoustic Song.
